The National Trust - www.nationaltrust.org.uk
We've been visiting National Trust properties for many years - we just love beautiful places and spaces - these are what the Trust protect and look after for us all . Membership is very reasonable, as long as you visit regularly . Katherine always heads for the shops, which are usually stocked with a great range of products - including our cards - if you are in the Thames & Chiltern area! All these properties sell our cards - Basildon Park / Cliveden/ Stowe Landscape Gardens/ Clandon Park/ Ashridge/ Boxhill/ Polesden Lacey / The Blue Coat School.
The sales of our cards generates revenue for the National Trust, and we're very pleased and proud to be associated with this excellent organisation.
The Royal Botanic Gardens - Kew - www.kew.org
Katherine's connections to Kew go back to when she was a student at Hornsey Art College. She used to pay 1d to enter the grounds , and would spend hours drawing there. This early inspiration probably sowed the seeds for her paintings , around which our business is formed.
We were delighted when our cards were selected for the White Peaks shop, and now they are in the revamped Victoria Gate shop - so the sales of these are helping Kew - as Kew has helped us. We're very proud of our connection - and we're always keen to see what's going on there - it's fascinating!
If you don't know about this organisation, and have even just a little interest in plants, do visit the Gardens - the sheer scale of the Palm House for example is awe inspiring. The first time I went, it was snowing outside, and I was on the balcony close to the roof - it was hot and humid inside - and yet only inches away, snowflakes were falling on the glass above my head - Magical!
This is probably one of the nicest places around London where you can spend a day, at any time of
the year.
Enjoy your visit - and buy loads of cards - you'll help Kew !
